It is pretty messy dealing with and tracking the tangled web of multiple mutual funds and multiple fund folios / Account nos with their AMC houses.
The simplest way to go about it is to remember to keep a single email address per individual in all your mutual funds.
Know your customer or KYC
For investors who intend to invest more than Rs 50000 per transaction get your kyc done through any of your MFs.
How to check KYC status ?
- Step 1: Visit www.cvlindia.com and click on “Inquiry on KYC”
- Step 2: Enter the PAN number and click on SUBMIT.
- Step 3: If KYC compliant the name of PAN holder appears along with the status of KYC. The investor can take a print out of this andwill suffice as document of acknowledgement.
Tracking MFS
Karvy and Cams that do most of the processing of MFs.
Thanks to SEBI you can now get a consolidated statement of all your MF holdings by quoting your registered email address.
Link via Karvy HERE
For Transacting Online it is best to register with individual MFs after giving a physical application for the same.
Value Research India is a great site for tracking Mutual fund developments.
Get a full NAV Bhav copy at Amfi Site
You can also register with CAMS and Karvy and get pins for each mf folio to do transactions , but it is lengthy process.
