Making Pesto

While in Europe , i picked up a liking for good Pesto or  Mediterranean Sweet Basil Chutney.

Though Pesto is imported in India, it tastes nothing like  the fresh home made one, and the fun bit is that it aint that difficult to make especially when u can get most ingredients here. U could check out This recipee by Twospoons for tips.

  1. Actually, basil is only one of a variety of pestos one can make/eat. The taste depends on the balance and freshness of the ingredients. I love it, though I have stopped eating pasta. I put a couple of spoons on spinach and other veggies for a delicious salad.
