As mentioned in an older post , the operators are final bending to the TRAI DIKTAT and offering a la carte DTH.
The rules are generally the same
Pay for what you watch or A-la-carte channel selection brings to you the freedom of paying for only what you want to watch.
A minimum charge of Rs 150 per month
If the cumulative cost of channels of your choice is less than or equal to Rs150, you do not have to pay any extra amount.
If the cumulative cost of channels of your choice is greater than Rs 150, then the higher amount will be chargeable.
Of all the providers TataSky is the most open and has the best / lowest cost plan … Dish tv has bundles under a la carte as of now and this is totally not acceptable .
All in all there is still more legislation needed so that all channels should not cost over 10% of the all channels or platinum package.
